This training course is different to a number of others that you might have seen.
This optional 3667-03, Unit 302 module, is designed to empower delegates and increase their understanding of the processes and disciplines that are required for the design, planning an implementation of an premises or internal communications cabling system.
The course itself examines in great details the for the provision of an internal network cabling infrastructure and in particular the responsibilities that the designer needs to be aware of from the initial discussion with the client right the way through to carrying the design.
Using worked examples, the course itself is delivered in a classroom based setting, with delegates active in discussion groups and individual syndicates.

This course is primarily aimed at network cabling professionals who want to increase their knowledge and expertise in the area of planning and designing a premises communications cabling system.
Delegates attending this course are likely to be already involved in the communications cabling industry and may have had some prior installation design experience.

Candidates are individually assessed by way of 2 distinct methods.
Method Number 1 – Series of 5 timed assignments which will thoroughly test the candidates underpinning knowledge of the design & planning processes including estimating and costing the project
Method Number 2 – All candidates are further assessed by a detailed technical project assignment which is normally carried out separately by the delegate at the end of the formal training sessions. – The is preface by a Project Prep Session.

All candidates projects and associated assignments are marked internally by a nominated and City and Guilds approved assessor.
This course is subject to vat and is inclusive of all examination fees.
This course leads to a fully accredited level 3 qualification and diploma in City and Guilds 3667-03 302 Designing and planning an internal network cabling infrastructure.
Delegates are given a comprehensive assignment and project work guidance as part of the classroom based course.
All delegates attending this course must hold a successful pass in the unit 301 to attend this course.
